Courtnay is a Southern California girl at heart, and this is reflected in her California-Contemporary, easy-living, yet luxurious style. She loves to mix found objects with high design.

Color also plays a big part in her design style, as she believes 'it can carry you through a space and make a house a home.' Courtnay's favorite color? Red, in all shades. But her greatest inspiration comes from nature, 'Who can beat what Mother Nature can do??'

Her favorite element in a room is the lighting, because it can make or break the mood of the room.

Courtnay says her interest in design goes back to elementary school; a love and talent for architecture and design runs in her family, so it came naturally for her. She earned her BFA at University of Texas and her AA at the Art Institue of Dallas, and after gaining experience in the industry, she joined Noël.

Courtnay has a multitude of interests she pursues in her time outside Noël, including fashion, travel, graphic design, cinema, theatre, Houston Symphony, live music, photography, and (of course) the beach. Her travels to the Caribbean Islands, Fiji, and Australia, where she was exposed to the indigenous people and their art, have also inspired her design style.

Courtnay's favorite designers include Frank Lloyd Wright, Christopher Guy, Versace, Jean-Louis Denoit, and Windsor Smith.

Courtneay could be best described as a spectrum in design. She flows seamlessly from high hollywood glamour to European clean contemporary, from southwestern casual to the most formal of the traditional styles! Courtneay's favorite element in the room is the people; she says, 'I read a person -- their wants, needs, desires, and moods... mix it in with color, texture, and style, and you have a room that they love and will be comfortable in!'

Courtneay found her passion for space planning, color trends, and furniture when she was a child; every time her family moved, her parents put her in charge of setting up the new house, picking paints, and arranging the furniture. She decided to go to school for design after reading an article in Architectural Digest about a movie set designer that inspired her. Courtneay says that was all it took to get her to leave med school -- she was going to be a set designer!

Courtneay went on to get her BFA in Interior Architecture and Design. She worked on set design for various tv shows, movies, and theater productions, and then transitioned into interior design.

Outside of Noël, she spends her time planning, designing, and preparing to build her dream house, catching up on all of the latest design trends, and building her website dedicated to eco-friendly "green" design.

Deborah is a woman of great experience, with over 20 years of work in interior design both in DC and in the South. She has done both residential and commercial work, for clientele from a young couple starting out in their first home, to congressmen and other professionals. She has had the pleasure of working with seasoned designers from all over the country, including Chicago, and believes this not only gives a lot of flavor to her design work, but also helps her to perform any style reflective of her client.

Deborah's favorite element in a room is a piece that is both interesting and also exudes the personality of her client. She is especially excited when the room includes a special, unique piece that creates conversation, such as a Persian rug the client purchased while visiting another country, or an original painting by a renowned artist.

While you will often find Deborah wearing black and white, her preferred colors in a room are the favorite color of the client and she is very versatile in adjusting to individual preferences and desires. One of her favorite designers is Robert McAlpine, whom she worked with in the south and who is often featured in Southern Living and other publications.

Deborah's interest in design started when she was nine years old, and from an early age, she was helping her mother design and draw floor plans and elevations for residential homes. Outside of Noël, she enjoys writing professionally and has published works. She also likes to spend her time looking at historic homes in need of refurbishment, for her husband, an architect builder.

Fatima didn't discover her passion for design until she began shopping for her home in 1985. Before that, she had actually gone to school for and pursued marketing. After five years in the industry, she came to work at Noël.

Her style is transitional; she believes in keeping the home appropriate to its setting. Her favorite element in a room is a comfortable chair, for reading. As for the rest of the room, Fatima says there is no better designer than nature, 'it's perfect; it's all function.' Her favorite color? Black.

Fatima enjoys more of the laid-back life, reading, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoys learning new skills to improve and advance herself.

While Maricela did not originally pursue design for a career, her younger years are filled with things like asking her mother all the time to rearrange their living room furniture and helping her mother pick out the art and accessories for their home.

Maricela likes to be eclectic in her more transitional style and also mix-in some modern elements. She enjoys working with reds, browns, creams, golds, and other warm colors. A lot of her design is also inspired by a trip she took to Europe, where she experienced some of the beautiful architectural design there. Her favorite part of designing a room is working with the space she is given -- to see how she will place the furniture and what color she will bring out of the room. "I get really excited to see my client's space and can't wait to get started!" Other things that get Maricela excited about designing a room? Fabulous pieces of art and accessorizing to complete the room.

Maricela works hard and feels good. "I am just a very happy person. I am a great listener and I love team work; I love to design with my clients' needs and ideas. Together, we can create a beautiful home."

Outside of Noël, Maricela loves being physically active, cooking in her kitchen, and traveling.

When it comes to design in your home, Diann believes it is all about your needs and desires -- no rules. She doesn't have a favorite designer or style, she draws her inspiration from any number of designers or styles, with an appreciation for them all. Her favorite detail? The textures. "All kinds! Leather, silk, linen... I believe they are great elements in any room I'm designing." While black is indisputably her favorite go-to color ("it's indescribable," she says bluntly), she also loves all shades from cream bisque to chocolate.

Diann's interest in design began at age 6. She is our veteran designer, having been with Noël since 2000, with almost 20 years of experience. Before joining Noël, she worked in fashion and design.

Jaci describes her style as 'eclectic chic'. She loves to mix clean designs with pops of colors and textures; she loves unexpected accent pieces and beautiful lighting. She loves to bring all the elements together to create a chic balance that is true to the space.

Jaci considers lighting to be an essential element in any atmosphere, "Good lighting can enhance the colors and mood of your design," but it's the color palettes that really bring out her passion, 'I get inspired by color palettes everyday. Sometimes I'm obsessed by the colors in a piece of art, the next day I'm trying to recreate a combination I've seen in a magazine.'

She loves what she does and looks forward to each and every new project. 'The designers I work with are so talented. I have so much fun partnering with them and combining our different ideas and thoughts for design challenges.' Jaci first came to work at Noël when she was 19, 'I thought it was the most beautiful showroom in the country. My passion for interior decorating began then.' She has been with Noël since 2005.

Outside of her time at Noël, Jaci loves dining, shopping, networking, and traveling. In fact, she spent a year in Sweden, where she found inspiration in the simplistic clean style that dominates the Scandinavian countries.

Nikole finds zeal in a little bit of everything, so she tends to favor an eclectic acquired-over-time type of look in a room. She says, 'I believe it is an uncompromising attention to detail that truly distinguishes an interior; it is the unique and unexpected touches in design that can transform an ordinary space into something more personal and unique.'

Nikole claims her passion for design started in her childhood and that by the time she was ten, she had made the firm decision to pursue design as a career. The designer she most admires? 'Albert Hadley. His interiors boast elegance combined with livability.'

She earned her bachelor's degree in Interior Design at Texas State University, with a minor in Construction Technology. Nikole then went on to complete an internship at The Design Source.

Nikole hasn't stopped taking her passion for design seriously either: As an ASID Allied Member, she is also pursuing her NCIDQ certification to become a Registered Interior Designer.

RC was born into the industry and has been familiar with furnishing and design since a very young age. RC does not favor a particular style over another, instead electing to go big, dynamic, and in-season. A favorite color? "My favorite color is yours," says RC, who also proudly calls "bling" his favorite element in the room, in reference to crystal-accented pieces of furniture. He also gives special attention to lighting, which can have a tremendous impact on the ambience and look of a room. RC is a vibrant, energetic personality who takes great pride in his work, in making a difference in the appearance of any room or home.

Tricia's design style compliments both her personal look and personality extremely well, summed up only as colorful. She calls it "Colorful Modern Eclectic" and fuses bold, energetic colors, and modern pieces with more traditional and even antique collections. The result is a unique combination that is tasteful yet fresh.

Her passion took flight at a very young age, when she would rearrange her room and change the color scheme "as often as [her] parents would allow." As she grew up, both her zeal and talent blossomed, as she began to design her own custom drapes along with her mother.

Upon graduating from Lamar University, Tricia has gained nearly five years of experience in both design consulting and management with reputable national retailers before joining Noël. Tricia loves accent pieces, "drapes, rugs, pillows, and other accessories that make a room," and Candice Olsen.

Gregory's passion for interior design has been his focus for many years. He has a diverse style and has designed interiors for a range of home styles including New York City lofts and penthouses, small Texas log cabins and cattle baron style ranch homes, intermingled with a variety of modern homes.

Gregory notes that he does not favor a particular designer. He believes that each home "is an eclectic overview of your passage through life." He makes sure that the finished spaces are a reflection of the client, leaving them with a sense of "wow, this is what I wanted, it's me." Gregory likes to implement a combination of different textures in a room to evoke the desired mood or create the perfect ambiance because "a room should be an experience in itself."

Having travelled "everywhere but China," Gregory embodies the idea that one's experiences have an impact on perspective and design style. His travels have familiarized him with diverse architectural styles of different countries and cultures. They have allowed him to broaden his personal design repertoire to be comprehensive, unique and flexible to his clients' requirements.

Daryoush's passion for rugs began in his childhood. At the age of 10, he joined his family rug business. Born and raised in Tehran, rugs were second only in value to oil. Bringing over 40 years of knowledge and experience to our team at Noel, Daryoush has an eye for matching a rug to any room. With a belief that a rug brings a room together, he focuses on coordinating colors with what you already have in place. Whether you need a new rug or a rug repair, Daryoush is ready to assist.

Heather's passion for design could be seen from a very young age, when markers and a blank sheet of paper were all the motivation necessary to evoke her natural artistic abilities and creative spirit. As she grew up, she never relinquished her pursuit of the arts, and she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Home Furnishings from the University of North Texas. Heather went on to spend the last two years applying her degree to practice interior designer in both California and Texas.

Heather draws on modernism, eclectic styles, and her personal travel and life experiences for inspiration. Her loyalty, devotion, and love for her family are also reflected positively in her professional life, as she approaches her clients with those same genuine and warm sentiments. Heather is a great listener and maintains her client's wishes as the centerpiece of her work and her guide to create a particular look and feel of a home that reflects the personality of the owner. She possesses the versatility to build a room around a single piece and to fit any budget.

At the age of three, Jeremy discovered his creative persona in his desire to receive crayons and other art supplies as gifts. Ultimately, his childhood passion and creativity culminated in the receipt of an Interior Design degree in his native New Orleans. With six years of industry experience under his belt, Jeremy maintains the same sense of creativity and enthusiasm for life and design he did as a toddler.

One of his Jeremy's favorite designers is Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the German designer and architect associated with the aphorism "less is more." Jeremy has incorporated the Miesian philosophy of clean, elegant design and balance into his own design approach. He achieves this balance in his design life by calibrating his own ideas with those of the customer. In his opinion, open customer communication is the essential part of the design process. Timeless, inspired design is a complete reflection of the partnership between client and designer. Jeremy recognizes listening is key to the success of that partnership.

When not flashing his smile or enjoying the company of clients, Jeremy enjoys spending time writing poetry, experimenting with new design ideas and sharing quality time with his Boston terrier, Shuffle.

After receiving her degree in Interior Design from the College of DuPage in Illinois, Debbi has passionately pursued her career in interior design for the past 25 years. Debbi's extensive work in both residential and commercial settings in Chicago, Las Vegas, California, and Florida offers her a unique and broad perspective that translates into the ability to meet any design needs her clients may have. She also has extensive experience in custom upholstery, window treatments, and bedding. She loves fabrics and art, but notes that "accessories and art are the lipstick on the finished product" and should not be the centerpiece around which a room is designed.

In her own words, "My clients have always made my vocation very enjoyable and worthwhile. I combine my design ability with their personality and lifestyle to create a warm, beautiful and inviting environment. A home they can enjoy with family and friends for years to come."

Debbi donates much of her spare time to volunteer at the local animal shelter and at charity events.

Laura's passion for architecture and art began as a little girl when she would build miniature horse ranches to scale at the base of trees and spend a great deal of time drawing horses. She obtained her B.S. in Psychology and a Masters in Communication at the University of Houston and continued to pursue her intrinsic creativity, completing her Interior Design Certification from the same university.

Laura then began to ply her trade, managing to grow her clientele and portfolio, while finding time to teach Art and travel extensively. Both of these experiences had a profound influence on her design aesthetic and spirituality.

Laura believes in a collaborative, client-centered approach, where her goal is to guide her clients to design decisions that uplift and enrich both their homes and moods. She also pays particular attention to the architectural elements of a room, coupled with ambient lighting, and a mix of hues and textures to deliver a bold and unified statement that reflects the personality, taste, and needs of the client.

Even as a young girl walking to school in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Lisa would admire the homes on their route and imagine how she could alter the exteriors and landscaping to make them prettier. She also dreamed about attending interior design school.

By the time Lisa relocated to Southern California, she was already well on her way to making her one-time childhood aspirations a reality. She graduated from the Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, CA, in 1996 and began her career as an interior designer.

Infusing Frank Lloyd Wright's philosophy of "form follows function" into her work, Lisa's approach is both practical and beautiful. She refers to this as "sophisticated elegance." Her style preferences are always changing, much like the needs of her diverse clientele and their homes – from very eclectic modern homes, to more classic, traditional ones. Her ability to use her design expertise to guide her clients has allowed her to design beautiful spaces.

Her favorite color is purple, with an emphasis on its regal quality and the power a small splash of color can have on a room. She has worked with Marge Carson collections through the years and believes that designing any room involves picking out just the right "statement piece," which reflects the personality of its owner and makes the space "unique."

In her spare time, Lisa is a devoted mother of two boys, and enjoys living an active, healthy lifestyle, skiing, rollerblading, and running.

Treveon is a lifelong fan of the arts – whether music, dance, or fashion. He infuses his work with many different design elements, believing that style transcends boundaries of industry or country – a clean, simple, yet elegant design can be found in many realms.

Treveon says that he has very little time off, by choice, as he prefers to spend his time away from Noel connecting with his clients, doing additional research for a current design project, or seeking new opportunities to further his design interests. His philosophy when it comes to working with clients is to go above and beyond what is expected and to show options that fit each client's budget and lifestyle. His belief is that "it's not customer service, it's a customer experience."

His favorite designer is Christopher Guy and he enjoys the use of clean lines and elegant curves to create both classic and modern looks. He is an avid animal lover and enjoys the outdoors and living a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Simone loves the richness and elegance of classic designs, with a particular admiration for pieces that speak volumes about the character of the owner. Rich, robust pieces are central to her design style, as she starts with them and completes the rest of the room around them, garnishing with complimentary accessories, accents, and artwork to create beautiful spaces that her clients adore.

Simone has over eighteen years of experience in fine furniture and spent over a decade in real estate. Her unique background both in showrooms and clients' homes has allowed her to completely immerse herself in the world of home décor and to constantly refine her design style. Simone's best qualities are her exceptional ability to work with individual clients, catering to their needs and allowing a great deal of customization, and building strong, lasting relationships.

Simone leads a very active lifestyle, enjoys ballroom dancing and playing the piano, and loves spending time with her two children. She is constantly building on her pursuit of lifelong learning, holding a BS in Psychology and a Master's in Business Administration. She is also an avid communicator, building on her fluent knowledge of Farsi by currently learning Spanish.
